Frequently asked questions

If your question is not here, ask us — we answer every message.

Certificates

How do I get a certificate?
Meet your course’s attendance and progress thresholds and pay the fee in full. The certificate is then issued automatically and appears in your dashboard as a downloadable PDF.
Can an employer check my certificate?
Yes. Every certificate carries a unique number and a QR code linking to a public verification page that confirms it is genuine, without exposing your personal details.

Classes

Where are the classes held?
Face-to-face classes are at USTED Campus in Kumasi; come a few minutes early to set up your laptop. On a live online cohort, the Join button in your dashboard opens the class on Google Meet shortly before it starts.
What if I miss a class?
Ask your instructor what you missed and catch up from the lesson materials in your dashboard. Attendance counts toward completion, so try not to make a habit of it — each course lists the minimum attendance required for a certificate.
What do I need to take part?
A laptop — brought to every class if you are face to face, or with a steady internet connection if you are online. Everything else — registering, paying, checking your schedule and submitting work — also works on a phone.

Enrolment

How do I enrol?
Choose a course, pick a cohort with seats available, create an account and pay. The whole process takes a few minutes and works on a phone.
What happens if a cohort is full?
Join the waiting list. If someone withdraws we contact the next person in the queue, and you get a fixed window to claim the place before it moves on.
Can I move to a different cohort?
Yes, if the cohort you want has room and it has not already started. Contact support and we will move you.

General

Do I need any experience to start?
No. Web Development is designed for complete beginners, and Web Application Development follows straight on from it. Each course page lists exactly what you need before day one.
Are the classes online or face to face?
Either — you choose when you enrol. Each course runs a face-to-face cohort at USTED Campus in Kumasi and a live online cohort on Google Meet, at the same fixed times twice a week, each with its own 20 seats. Both are live, so you can ask questions and get help straight away.
How long is a course?
Four weeks, with two three-hour classes a week — eight classes in all. Each course page shows the dates and times of its next cohort.
Can I do this alongside school or a job?
Yes — that is who the schedule is built for. Classes run on weekday evenings and the total commitment is about eight hours a week including your own project work.
How many students are in a class?
No more than 20, so your instructor can get round to everyone. Seats go in order of payment.
What is included in the fee?
Every class, a certificate when you complete the course, a Codolla Skills Lab T-shirt and your own copy of the course manual.

Payment

How do I pay?
By Mobile Money — MTN, Telecel or AirtelTigo — or by debit or credit card, through Hubtel. You will get a prompt on your phone to approve the payment.
Can I pay in instalments?
On cohorts that offer a payment plan, yes. You will see the options at checkout, typically a deposit followed by one or two further payments. You get access as soon as the first payment clears.
My payment failed. Have I lost my place?
No. A failed payment leaves your enrolment pending and your seat held for the reservation period shown on screen. Retry from your dashboard — you do not need to fill in the form again.
Will I get a receipt?
Yes. A receipt is emailed as soon as your payment is confirmed, and you can download or print it from your dashboard at any time.
